Here is further information about our ASK Summer 20025/2026 Holiday Programme:
Monday 15th -Friday 19th December, 2025
This week we will be doing lots of fun Christmas activities including baking, card making, arts and crafts, wearable arts, Secret Santa and a Festive Disco on Friday!
January Holidays: Monday 12th - Friday 30th January 2026
Week One: Monday 12th - Friday 16th January
Monday 12th January:
* Pizza/Baking - Design and Bake your own Pizza!
* Wheels Day - Bring your own bike, Scooter, Skates and make and test a track.
Tuesday 13th January:
* Trip: Swimming @ Levin Aquatic Centre including a 70m enclosed hydroslide. We will eat our lunch at the park by the pool. Then afterwards we will stop for a Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream and Play at Lewis Farms.
NB: Marton Children required to be at ASK by 8.15am, we expect to return by 3.30pm.
Palmy Children required to be at ASK by 9am, we expect to return by 3pm.
*. Onsite: Plate Art - Explore your creativity designing your own plate to take home
Wednesday 14th January:
*. Tie Dye - BYO cottonTee Shirt or other white clothing item and make them unique to YOU with tie dye!
PLUS Fear Factor - Are you brave enough to face something unknown or new? Let’s find out!
Thursday 15th January:
* Trip: Whanganui Riverlands Go Karts, Bungee- Tramp & Mini Golf.
Who is the best behind the wheel? Who can make the most precise trick shots?
Covered Shoes Required please.

Palmy Children required to be at ASK by 8.30am, we expect to return by 4pm.
* Onsite: Plaster of Paris craft - choose, make, dry and decorate your own plaster of paris creation.
Friday 16th January:
* PJ Dress Up Day and Shared Kai for Teddy Bears Picnic Lunch.
Shared Lunch - What do Teddies eat for lunch? The most whimsical deliciousness wins a prize!
* Tech Day - BYO Tech or Toys (At your own risk. Some rules apply, please ask if unsure)
Week Two: Tuesday 20th January - Friday 23rd January
Monday 19th January
* Closed for WELLINGTON ANNIVERSARY DAY!
Tuesday 20th January
* Trip: Play2Win Whanganui - Time Play, Lunch and Ten Pin Bowling. Afternoon tea at Kowhai Park
Socks required for bowling.
NB: Marton Children required to be at ASK by 9am, we expect to return by 3.30pm.
Palmy Children required to be at ASK by 8.30am, we expect to return by 4pm.
* Onsite: Tin can craft - Decorate a tin can for a stationery holder/vase/whatever you like!
Wednesday 21st January
* Garden Art - Create a masterpiece for your garden at home. We will go for a nature walk today too!
Thursday 22nd January
* Trip: Chipmunks (Under 12yo) or The Cave (Over 8yo) then Swimming at Freyberg Pool.
Socks required for Chipmunks.

Friday 23rd January
* Hawaiian Dress Up Day! Bust out your bright and fun summer holiday gears and let's Luau! Most Tropical outfit wins a prize!
* Shared Lunch - What tropical treats will you tantalise our tastebuds with today?
* Tech Day - BYO Tech or Toys (At your own risk. Some rules apply, please ask if unsure)
Week Three: Monday 26th January - Friday 30th January
Monday 26th January
*. Baking Sweet Treats: Lollycake? Chocolate Crackle? Truffles? What sweet treat will we make today?
* Water Balloon Fun this afternoon
Tuesday 27th January
* Trip: Gamestarted - Laser Tag & Laser Maze followed by Memorial Park for a Fish’n’Chip Lunch & Play.
Togs/Change of Clothes required for Splash Pad play.
NB Marton Children required to be at ASK by 8.30am, we expect to return by 4pm.
Palmy Children required to be at ASK by 9am, we expect to return by 3.30pm.
*. Onsite: Designing and Decorating a picture frame to take home.
Wednesday 28th January
* ASK Summer Market Day.
Bring item/s to sell - Baking, Treats, Crafts, Old Toys or,
services to offer - hair styling? facepaint? nail polish? or,
an act to put on - Magic tricks? Comedy set? Puppet Show?
Set up your stall and buy & sell at our Summer Fair
Participating children are each given $10 Play Money to spend at each other's stalls.
*. Post Market Auction - Children can bid for items using the money they made from their stalls.
Thursday 29th January
* Trip: Swimming at Freyberg Pool + a Movie @ Events Cinema with Popcorn & Fizzy (We will let you know which movie closer to the time!)

Palmy Children required to be at ASK by 8.30am, expected return before 4pm.
*. Onsite: Shell Craft - Design and create a hanging mobile from sticks and shells to take home.
Friday 30th January
* Book Character Dress Up Day! Prizes for commitment to Character and Best Dressed!
* Shared Lunch - Sticking to Book theme, try to bring a food you may have only read about :Green Eggs & Ham? Lembas Bread? Turkish Delight? Sugar Plums?
